Guidelines for submission of abstracts

  • Research findings and innovative new ideas which can inform policy, directly influence practice, inspire future research, health reform and add to the Primary Health Care (PHC) evidence base. As a contribution to fostering this impact, the Call for Abstracts asks authors to consider the contribution their work makes to policy, practice and/or research.

You can submit an abstract for the following:

    • 15 minute concurrent poster presentation (10 minute presentation/5 minute Q&A)

    • 20 minute concurrent plenary session

    • 45 minute Keynote Speaker

The Program Committee invites authors to submit abstracts for presentation within the program of MyPHN 2018. Submissions are sought for oral and poster presentations and can be made via the Abstract Submission Portal.

All abstracts must follow the abstract template and be submitted online by Friday 18 May 2018. Please note that the closing date for abstract submissions will not be extended.

  • Submitting your abstract

You can access the online submission portal using the ‘Submit Abstract’ button below. You will need to set up a new user account and create a log in and password, before you can submit your abstract. You will be able to use that log in and password to re-enter the submission portal to make edits to your draft abstract up until the submission deadline.

Please ensure that all the required information is completed as requested. If you experience any problems during the online submission process, please contact the myPHN Conference coordinator at myPHN.abstracts@primaryhealth.com.au

You will receive a confirmation of abstract submission email from conference coordinator ICMS Australasia after submission.

All accepted abstracts will be made available to conference delegates.
