  • When and where is the conference being held?

    myPHN Conference 2017: Transforming healthcare together will take place from Saturday 8 July to Sunday 9 July and will be held at the Pullman Reef Hotel Casino, Cairns. Please visit the program page for session information and times.

     


    Can I bring extra guests to the social events?

    You can purchase additional tickets to the social events:

    myPHN Networking Event – $40
    Digital Health Breakfast – SOLD OUT

  • Who can attend?

    myPHN Conference 2017 is designed for people working in the healthcare industry, and is open to a wide range of healthcare professionals including:

    • general practitioners
    • pharmacists
    • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health workers
    • allied health professionals

    • nurses

    REGISTRATION


  • Can I still register?

    Registration for myPHN Conference 2017 is now closed due to another sell-out. If you would like to go on a wait list please email hwqevents@healthworkforce.com.au


    What if I have booked and have not received confirmation?

    A confirmation of registration and tax invoice will be issued to your email address on submission of registration. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please check your ‘junk’ or ‘spam’ folders and check that the email address you provided when registering is correct.

    If a confirmation has not been received, please contact the Conference Coordinator on (07) 3105 7800 or hwqevents@healthworkforce.com.au


    Can I check my registration?

    Yes. When you first register, you will be asked to enter a password, and then with this password, you can log back in at any time, using your email address as your username and password to:

    • make changes to sessions
    • update your contact details
    • download invoices and receipts.

    You will not be able to cancel your registration here. To cancel, please make contact with the Conference Coordinator on (07) 3105 7800 or hwqevents@healthworkforce.com.au


  • Are conference related costs tax deductible?

    This depends on individual circumstances. Please contact your tax professional to discuss this.


    Will you be sending my name badge and function tickets to me before the conference?

    No, your name badge and function tickets will be available for collection from the Registration Desk onsite on arrival at the conference.


    I need to cancel. Is there a cancellation/refund policy?

    Cancellations must be made in writing to the Conference Coordinator.
    Cancellations received on or before 24 May 2017 will receive a full refund minus a $30 (inc. GST) administration fee.

    Cancellations made in writing thereon until 21 June 2017 will receive a refund of 50% minus a $30 (inc. GST) administration fee.

    Any cancellations made from the 21 June 2017 onwards will not receive a refund.

    As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person. The Conference Coordinator must be advised of such transfer of registration by 21 June 2017. Transfers will not be accepted after this date and no refund will be granted. To contact the Conference Coordinator call (07) 3105 7800 or email hwqevents@healthworkforce.com.au

    Cancellation of accommodation must be made directly to the property. Health Workforce Queensland is not responsible for any cancellation fees or charges relating to accommodation.

  • Do you have special accommodation rates?

    Yes. Special hotel rates are available for visitors and exhibitors. Please visit our accommodation page for more information.


  • Is there parking at the conference? 

    Undercover car parking is available for delegates at the cost of $8 for 24 hours.

    GENERAL


  • Is wireless internet available at the Pullman Reef Hotel Casino?

    Yes, there is Wi-Fi available throughout the hotel. It is free for in-house guests (conditions apply) and for conference delegates it will be available on the conference floor and a code will be provided to you.


    What is the dress code for the conference?

    Smart casual attire.


    Who is the event organiser?

    The organiser of the event is Health Workforce Queensland. Please contact the organiser by emailing hwqevents@healthworkforce.com.au or calling (07) 3105 7800.


  • Are childminding facilities available?

    No. If you require babysitting services, please arrange this with your hotel concierge.


    Is there a cloakroom available?
