The Australian Digital Health Agency was established in July 2016 to improve health outcomes for all Australians with a focus on engagement, innovation, and clinical quality and safety. It is responsible for national systems – including My Health Record – and for implementing Australia’s National Digital Health Strategy in collaboration with partners across the community. The Strategy will put consumers at the centre of their health and care and empower more choice, control and transparency. By the end of 2018, all Australians will have a My Health Record, which contains a secure mobile summary of their health information that can be shared with care professionals – unless they choose to opt out.  For more information please visit www.digitalhealth.gov.au
