Saturday 1 September | View program for more details
The Department of Education funded ‘Be Well Learn Well’ (BWLW) program is implemented by CheckUP in partnership with the local Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs) – Gidgee Healing and Apunipima Cape York Health Council. The BWLW program is an early intervention strategy that supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student developmental needs in remote state schools through the delivery of targeted allied health services. The program aims to identify and address behavioural and learning issues to improve educational outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
