Malcolm has been with NSW Ambulance for 15 years, starting in 2002 as a starry eyed probationary officer in Central & East Sydney. He completed his Intensive Care qualification in 2005, working a further 5 years as an ICP in Sydney’s CBD. 2009 to 2011 saw a move into NSW Ambulance Education as a Clinical Training Officer. In 2011 he returned to ‘the road’ qualifying as a Special Operations Team paramedic & in 2013 qualified as an Extended Care Paramedic. He has mentored paramedics from the trainee to Intensive Care level.
Malcolm is currently the Integrated Care Project Officer for NSWA Clinical Services. With a keen interest in raising the the awareness of the role paramedics play in the health landscape & developing partnerships with the wider health network.
