Professor Robert McLachlan is a NHMRC Principal Research Fellow at the Hudson Institute of Medical Research and is Deputy Director of Endocrinology at the Monash Medical Centre. He specialises in the area of male reproductive medicine and has made signiﬁ cant contributions to the research in endocrinology, infertility and andrology.
Rob is a consultant to the World Health Organisation (WHO) on male infertility regulation, is a former President of the Fertility Society of Australia, and former Secretary of the International Society of Andrology.
In 2016, he was made a Member in the Order of Australia for services to medicine in the ﬁeld of endocrinology, particularly to men’s reproductive health, and to medical research. Rob has been at Andrology Australia since 2000 and the Medical Director since 2006. From August 2015 to September 2017 Rob was Acting CEO.
